Amy Davis Records Track For Christmas CD And Performs Live In St. John, Indiana

Season 7 Top 24 Finalist Amy Davis has just finished recording a track for a new Christmas album released November 25, 2008. Davis sings "The First Noel." This Cd features elimanted American Idol contestants.

Others showcased on the 13-song album titled "American Christmas" include Frenchie Davis singing "Silent Night"; Maynard Triplets crooning "Oh, Holy Night"; and Alex Stone Lopez belting out "Winter Wonderland."

Amy Davis will also be performing a show at Northwoods in St. John, Indiana at 8 p.m. Dec. 27 for an all-ages show.

American Idol Finalists Perform On The American Stars in Concert for the Holidays" tour

Four former "American Idol" finalists are hitting the road for a 15-city cross-country holiday music tour. Touring are Chikezie ( Season 7 Top 10 ), Diana DeGarmo, ( Season 3 Runner Up ),David Hernandez ( Season 7 - Top 12 ) and Kimberley Locke ( Season 2- Top 3 Finalist . The tour is called " The American Stars in Concert for the Holidays.

The tour kicked off on November 29, 2008 in Pittsburgh, PA and ends December 21, 2008 at The Waukegar, Il at The Genesee Theater. For tour dates and more information see link below.

Chris Sligh Performs at Culpeper Benefit On November 29, 2008

Former “American Idol” Season 6 finalist Chhris Sligh performed Saturday to honor Kelsey Orndorff, of Culpeper. Orndorff was killed in an auto accident in August. She was on her way to see Sligh perform. The concert took place at Culpeper High School in Virginia.

American Idol Finalists Win American Music Awards

Former American Idols won at the 2008 American Music Awards which was held on November 23, 2008 . Motley Crue presented Daughtry with the Favorite Pop/Rock Duo or Group award. They beat out The Eagles and Coldplay.

Carrie Underwood won Favorit Country Album for Carnival Ride, beating out Garth Brooks and Rascal Flatts. Jordin Sparks won Best Artist Adult Contemporary. She beat The Eagles and Idol's Daughtry. These two awards were presented before the live television air cast.

Season's 7 David Cook and David Archuelta presented awards Daughtry and Jordin Sparks presented awards as well.

David Cook also performed on the live pre show.
