Carly Smithson We Are The Fallen

Carly Smithson is joining the original guys of Evanescence, who who formed a hard-rock band called We Are The Fallen. They'll make a formal announcement Monday in Hollywood, with a press conference and a live performance. The band's debut song, Bury Me Alive, will be available at that time for free download at wearethefallen.com.

The lineup consists of Smithson and three of the four original members of Evanescence -- guitarists Ben Moody and John LeCompt and drummer Rocky Gray -- as well as bassist Marty O'Brien.

Adam Lambert Young Hollywood Awards Report

Adam Lambert received the Artist of the Year last night Sunday, June 7th at the Young Hollywood Awards. Idol judge Kara DioGuardi presented Adam with the award. I was at the awards and after party. It was a fantastic night. Here is a recap of Adam's award and speech.

Lara Spencer(show host) says that to end the show we have Adam Lambert. Move over Claymates, we know have the Glamberts, Lamb Skanks etc.She said that she is one of them now as well. Then she said I just love him so much and he was robbed. The crowd goes nuts screamingand clapping for Adam. Then she continues and says that six months ago he was an unknown and now he is well known from American Idol. Watch this clip and you will see why. They then show a video clip of Adam. In Adam's package they show three songs that he performed during the show.Lara introduces Kara who presents the award. Kara enters from side stage. Adam is in the audience the whole show. He is sitting off to the right in the first few rows. Then she introduced Adam, he gets up gets his trophy and thanks Kara. Adam comes to the stage.
He then says. "Six months ago I was living in a studio apartment on Melrose and Wilcox just trying to get into Teddy's. And now all this seems unreal. Then he said that he had to thank American Idol and all the fans. Then he said people ask me what is it like to have all this happened to you, what about the paparrazi, the rumors about Queen... then he made some joke like all the queen and that all the questions you want to know will be in Rolling Stone Magazine so pick up a copy.Thanks once again and for some one to buy him a drink at the after party. The crowd was going mad and at the end of his speech you could tell that he was starting to get a bit emotional. Then he hugged Kara and they exited the stage and went back stage to do press.
